Ryuuji Tokura (登倉 竜士, Tokura Ryūji) is a fictional character from manga series of Baki Gaiden: Scarface.
He is often called "Rex" (レックス, Rekkusu).
Personality[]
Ryuuji Tokura is a gentle and kindhearted person with a childlike mentality but due to his gout, which causes him to suffer random flashes of pain, he often ends up destroying everything around himself in his agony. Despite not doing it on purpose, Ryuuji still feels guilt for the damage he causes. So much in fact that he started searching desperately to find a cure for his gout, even to the point of asking people to kill him to finally end it.
However, after his brief fight with Kaoru Hanayama and his subsequent recovery, he's become a much happier person and even quickly befriended Kaoru as he feels indebted to the man who "knocked the pain out of him" and even went out of his way to avenge him after he was nearly assassinated by Natto L. Nerinho.
Appearance[]
Ryuuji Tokura is an young abnormally large man with a huge amount of muscle for someone of his age, towering heads and shoulders above even Hanayama. His face looks like that of a monster, with various scars going from his right jaw to the upper left corner of his face and his left eye lacks any kind of pupil. Ryuuji is always seen wearing clothing that exposes his enormous torso like leather jackets or clothing that looked to have been ripped open at the front due to his massive size, He also appears to wear no shoes, likely because of his feet being to large to fit into any regular shoe size.
He also appears to be blond judging by the fact that the Grand Master had mistakenly called him "Jack Hanma" during a violent confrontation between the two characters.

Past[]
Though not much is known about his past, Ryuuji was apparently quite famous around his hometown during his childhood because of his incredible size and strength that was even greater then some adult.
However, when his gout started to develop, Ryuuji was taken away so he could be treated and he's been staying at the hospital until he decided to search for someone who could remedy his gout and ends up entangled in a strange web of events.
Abilities[]
As one may easily be able to deduce from his massive build, Ryuuji Tokura is monstrously strong which makes it fairly easy for him to destroy anything and anybody in his path. Ryuuji has been shown to be capable of derailing a train during one of his gout induced rampages as well as flipping a truck over without much effort and is more then capable of launching someone as large as Kaoru Hanayama high into the air with just one punch.
He also possesses extremely high durability as (before his battle with Kaoru) not even getting hit by a train was able to faze him and because of the constant flashes of pain brought on by his gout, Ryuuji has a very high pain tolerance as he showed little to no reaction even after receiving several open fractures and getting his nose ripped off by Natto L. Nerinho.
Though not as prevalent, Ryuuji is also unexpectedly fast, especially for someone of his size and build.
