Chokuzuki (直突き, Chokuzuki; literally: Straight Thrust), can also be romanized as Chokudzuki, is a fighting technique.
Description[]
The Chokuzuki punch is very similar to the Seiken, it's a fast straight punch which is meant to hit the face of the opponent. In the real world of martial arts, both techniques are almost identical. In the Baki the Grappler, the author decided to present the Chokuzuki as performed without rotating the fist which lands vertically, unlike the Seiken, which rotates the fist so that it lands horizontally. Also, in the Baki the Grappler series, the Chokuzuki seems to be always aimed to the face, while the Seiken can attack any part of the body.
The main user of this technique is Bunnoshin Inagi, who is capable of knocking out an opponent with protective gear. He used it in his battle with Kaoru Hanayama during the Maximum Tournament Saga, but it turns out to be ineffective against him.
